Noah Gray

Hi, I’m Noah. I’m a wellness coach with a Master’s Degree in Integrative Health Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I am currently on the Enneagram Teacher Training track with The Narrative Enneagram.

And I absolutely LOVE what I do!

Helping people pursue inner growth through wellness coaching and the Enneagram has forever left its mark on me. My fullest moments in life, as a coach, are when a person I’m coaching feels like the process got them out of their “box” and opened up new ways of living. As an Enneagram 6, I love the paradox of this moment. While the person may feel as if they have become more whole, it’s my belief and experience that they were already quite whole when I met them. For this reason, I love both wellness coaching and the Enneagram (particularly, using them together) because each is a theoretical framework centered on the inherent value of a human being. Each system views people through the lens of what makes them functional, exceptional, and whole.

With that in mind, my work is founded on three central pillars:

  1. Life Vision: I encourage my clients to go beyond stereotypical definitions of wellness — to instead think of wellness as living a fulfilled life on their own terms. Our culture tells us that working with a wellness coach is mostly about diet, exercise, and stress management. I’d like to challenge that notion. Maybe you see no value in discussing diet, exercise, or stress management—you have your own things to talk about that aren’t on any list. And that’s okay. The coaching process is guided by your values; I’m here to offer you the tools and support to realize your vision. There are no right or wrong answers about how to live your life.

  2. Client Centrism: I truly believe that in order for you to get value from wellness coaching, you have to be in charge of the process. I can offer you an array of tools, but only you can decide what’s effective for your change and development. You are the knowledgeable insider regarding your own life even if you don’t know it yet. Decisions like when to start, what approach to take, and how to deal with pitfalls you may encounter—these are ultimately up to you. Your own goals set the agenda, and I help you stay accountable to yourself and your big dreams.

  3. Self-observation Practice: Your automatic patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior can become a box you are stuck in - and you don’t even see it happening. The fundamental way to get out of the box is to practice self-observation, and develop your inner witness. Automatic patterns operate under the surface of your awareness. When brought to the surface, and called out for what they are, these patterns become less automatic and begin to lose their power. Progressively, you gain the freedom to create your own life.
